Transforming Corporate Compliance: A Revolutionary Project at Blankfactor

We sat down with Metin Ismetov, Product Owner, and Velina Tasheva, Tech Lead, to gain insights into an exciting new project to transform corporate compliance.

In the ever-changing business landscape, staying ahead of compliance and legal procedures is a necessity and a strategic advantage. At Blankfactor, we are excited to share our journey on a transformative project designed to revolutionize our client's corporate compliance framework through cutting-edge automation and innovation.

Project Overview

Our primary goal is to enhance our client's corporate compliance and legal procedures by automating and streamlining existing manual processes. This initiative goes beyond internal improvements; it positions our client as a leading provider of corporate compliance services to external clients. This innovative product will become a vital part of our client's portfolio, offering solutions to other corporate clients and partners facing internal compliance challenges. Additionally, the product and service will introduce self-service reporting capabilities through PowerBI integration, enabling the creation of customized reports.

The Team Behind the Innovation

Our project team comprises of a Delivery Manager, Product Owner, Tech Lead, Software Engineers, and Quality Assurance Specialists.

To ensure the success of this project, we are leveraging a robust technology stack, including .NET, MS SQL Server, Web API, React, Redux, and SharePoint

Project Management and Team Autonomy

Our project management structure fosters collaboration and ensures timely delivery. The Delivery Manager assembles the right team and acts as the main liaison between Blankfactor and the client, responsible for timely product delivery. Our Solution Architect is responsible for the overall solution design and supervision of the technical delivery. The Product Owner clarifies requirements with the client, documents them, and organizes them into bi-weekly sprints, planned collaboratively by the entire team. The Tech Lead ensures code quality, approves all new code, collaborates on feature development, and oversees the project's overall architecture.

Our software engineers and testers, a diverse mix of experienced professionals and participants from our NextGen internship programs develop and test the agreed functionalities. We offer a full-stack solution, handling both front-end and back-end development.

Notably, the Blankfactor team makes all technical decisions independently, with only functional details coordinated with the client to meet their needs and comply with local regulations.

Project Evolution

Although only 4 months old, this project has already seen significant progress. We've built strong trust with the client, and negotiations for additional projects are underway.
