RESPONSIBLE FOR

Supporting our businesses to recover from IT disasters such as Malware and virus attacks.

Maintaining relevant software images and tools for ease of recovery.

SKILLS

Various IT infrastructure, software and cloud based services to a high level of proficiency is required to support the demands from various customers.

These include but not limited to:-

SANS, Networking experience including LANs, WANs and VPNs Cisco/Firebox/etc. configuration of Firewalls, VPNs and Layer-3 devices.

 installation and configuration of firewalls and relevant network software

Windows various servers, clients and relevant software such as Exchange servers on-premise, hosted (365) or hybrid installations. Active Directory Microsoft Group Policy Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft IIS Citrix / Terminal Services VMware vSphere.

Azure/Amazon/Hyper-V provisioning and relevant configuration.

Various backup packages and restoration processes e.g. Symantec backup, Veem, Azure.

Securing and configuration of various WAPs


JOB PURPOSE

To work in a dynamic startup and provide world-class service to support our customers to effectively recover from IT disasters.

To build the capability of the organisation and support growth at a rapid rate.

Initially, this role will require customer on-site visits to support this activity, initially based in the UK and extending to Europe.

Provide relevant documentation if required for our customers of the activities taken place to recover systems and to manage customer expectations.

Be willing to work outside of core-hours when the need arises.

Have excellent, telephone and email communications. Be approachable and friendly. Be able to organize and prioritise workload.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications to support the wide skill set required for the position.

Knowledge of security practices and best practices.
