A year ago......

While looking at my Facebook history, the following text came. This was just 10 days after the first lockdown on April 10th 2020.

My take (so far) of this crisis.

- There is a lot of free stuff available ( ebooks, courses, trainings, resources, etc). Why was not available before?

- You will discover which are the best companies to work for. The ones that will put at risk their profitability before their employees are.

- There is an overflow of content (particularly webinars)

- Everyone can be a blogger/vlogger

- Many claimed their country can do stuff better and/or faster than others (really?). So much unnecessary patriotism and individuality, particularly during a time where we all need to stick together and not compete.

- Everyone can add ''crisis management'' to their CV as new skill.

- Make sure you have savings that allow you to survive for at least a year.

- Be ready to reinvent yourself/your career.

- Will the same solidarity continue after this crisis?

- Will profit be the priority of companies again?

- When you have a closed hotel, no matter how beautiful is, you suddenly realize that its people are the most important asset.

- Make sure you stock bleach, hand sanitizer, gloves, masks and toilet paper. Always. They don't expire anyway.

- The planet will thrive without us. Probably we should have these types of crisis to allow mother Earth to breath, to have less pollution, to have less consumerism.

- Suddenly we have realized that we can very well live with very basic.

What's your take??
