The year of gratitude

November in Mexico is the celebration of Day of the Deads. Here traditionally, death is celebrated and not feared. Death is just a passage from one life to the next.

Each year, the entire country decorates with flowers, put up altars and feasts to have their loved ones come back and be part of the living.

It's a tradions I knew little about it and now LOVE it!

I wanted to make this introduction only to mention about an end and a transition to a new beginning.

Yes, you read it well. My relationship with Chable' Yucatan has come to an end. I have had the 4 most wonderful years, full of achievements, memories, tears and joy. I will cherish forever my (second) family here and the Mexican people.

I salute the owners (here in this picture above in black, to respect their privacy), as possibly the most committed over their people (staff) and quality.

I also would like to thank Hamak Hotels, represented here by Abigail, Lucero, Nicolas and Alberto. They were the ones who first selected and believed in me.

I would like to mention everyone of the over 250 staff but Linkedin does not allow me too many words :-) Anyway, all of them know exactly who they are. Big hugs to all and thank you for welcoming me as part of your family and your culture.

Finally, I wish to thank JoAnn Kurtz Ahler, President of Hidden Doorways, Ann Sadler, Fourder of Ann Sadler PR and Victoria King, Founder of VKPR. They have been crucial for the success of Chable' Hotels.

Now onto a short break before announcing a new adventure.
