The year of gratitude
It is the year 2005 when I was priviledged to join one of the most spectacular hotels in SE Asia, a landmark for Hilton and one that was going to be used as blueprint for future Hilton.
The people you see in this picture are those I worked with, shaped me, helped me, coached me, directed me and made me the person I am today.
Let's start with Paul Hutton. Well........ a TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADER bar none. Paul was a tough leader, but one that can see beyond. He gave me the opportunity to thrive through a very controversial moment and one that eventually shaped my career. Thank you Paul for believing and trusting me.
Ian Jones, my immediate boss at the time, by putting me under a tremendous pressure helped me forge my style and my resilience.
Boni Mansi, a friend and a mentor, he coached me (and still does) many times to always make the best decision.
Kash Singh, a brother, a blood, one who watched my back. Thank you mate.
Sean Brennan, helped me understand what is most relevant in working life and the meaning to ''surf the wave'' as long as possible. I still don't know how to surf, but I certainly got the meaning.
Oriol Marquez, this man he put his own job at risk for me. He was the first one to believe in change and to make it happen. And when you put a Catalan and an Italian shoulder to shoulder, there is nothing that can stop them. Gràcies Oriol.
With this I end another month of gratitude, till the next one.
