  • Today marks the anniversary of the landmark Loving v. Virginia decision, which struck down laws banning interracial marriage. “Under our Constitution,” wrote Chief Justice Earl Warren, “the freedom to marry, or not marry, a person of another race resides with the individual, and cannot be infringed by the State.” Love knows no boundaries and this ruling was a crucial step in the fight towards equality and acceptance for all couples.  Let’s continue to celebrate and fight for love in all its forms and strive for a more inclusive and understanding society.
