#Branding 🌊Lençóis Maranhenses National Park (Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses) is a national park in Maranhão state in northeastern Brazil. Protected on June 2, 1981, the 155,000 ha (380,000-acre) park includes 70 km (43 mi) of coastline, and an interior composed of rolling sand dunes. During the rainy season, the valleys among the dunes fill with freshwater lagoons, prevented from draining due to the impermeable rock beneath. The park is home to a range of species, including four listed as endangered, and has become a popular destination for ecotourists. During the flood season, between January and March, the park has more than 36 thousand lagoons throughout its entire length. 🤯 The lagoons in the park are often interconnected with one another, as well as with the rivers that run through the area. They are home to a number of fish and insect species, including the wolf fish, which burrows down into wet layers of mud and remains dormant during the dry season. Besides the dunes that form the centerpiece of the park, the ecosystem also includes area of restinga and mangrove ecosystems. 🐟🐠 This amazing movie-like scenario is one of our inspirations to our brand. Just as the lagoons are interconnected—so do us. Just as this place is a home for diversity, we also foster a welcoming environment to all. Lençóis Maranhenses National Park defies some common laws as well; for a desert, it shouldn’t rain as much as it does there. And yet, it rains almost 4 times more there than in any other desert. Which makes this place so unique and magical. 🪄

Our first Pasta Design workshop in New York! 🍝 Who knew that tech leaders would also be such talented chefs? 👨🍳 👩🍳 Yesterday we had a fun and delicious workshop: an Italian dinner, cooked by Design & Tech leaders. Turns out that they are also good at this! Caju is very widespread in the North-Eastern part of Brazil. Part of the same fruit is the cashew, quite appreciated internationally. The pulp has a distinctive astringent taste. The vitamin C content of caju is about 3-4 times higher than that one of the orange. (Source: Fruteiro) This delicious fruit is kinda like our brand: versatile. Everything is used in caju. And for us, everything is possible in design. ✨
