  • The Office of the Bernalillo County Assessor has a hardworking, high-tech feature that’s working 24-hours per day answering questions for all who ask. The Assessor’s Community Educator (A.C.E.) is the Assessor’s website chatbot that not only answers questions online, but also has its own email address and will respond within minutes to all email inquiries with an answer and even attached forms. A.C.E. is the product of Intern Aaron Newe and has been invaluable to the Assessor’s Office staff by answering questions electronically and not requiring the use of staff time. “Aaron and his chatbot creation have given everyone in the office a gift - the gift of time,” says Assessor Damian Lara. “A.C.E. is non-stop, working 24 hours a day, seven days a week.” A.C.E. can be reached online at www.BernCo.gov/Assessor or you can email A.C.E. at [email protected].
