Lee Sullivan was my final interviewer when I joined Boston Scientific in 1996 as a Urology sales rep. I knew early on that I wanted to build my career at this company, and Lee had a lot to do with that decision. Her love of the medical device industry, the long-standing relationships she’s built with customers and professional societies, and her true passion for advancing urology for patients inspired me back then and continues to inspire me today. I’m thrilled that Lee’s extraordinary efforts were recognized at this year’s World Congress of Endourology and Technology meeting in Seoul where she was presented with the Endourological Society’s first-ever Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award. It’s a testament to her decades-long commitment to bringing awareness to and changing the demographics of the urology workforce to improve patient care.
