One of our favorite parts about being the presenting sponsor of the 102nd Greeley stampede was hosting our employee barbeque, and showing appreciation for our dedicated employees and their families. With regional headquarters in Denver, Chevron’s oil and natural gas operations are in the Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin – a large geological formation in northeastern Colorado and southeastern Wyoming. Our focus is the liquids-rich area within Weld County, where we have access to approximately 330,000 net acres. In 2020, we produced 148,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, comprised of 98,000 barrels of liquids and 301 million cubic feet of natural gas.

❗ New Discovery Alert ❗🔬 A newly discovered teen T. Rex is now on display at the Museum in our brand new exhibition, "Discovering Teen Rex." This incredible fossil was found by three young explorers: nine-year-old Liam Fisher, 12-year-old Jessin Fisher and 11-year-old Kaiden Madsen. During a fossil-hunting adventure, they came across large bones weathering out of a sedimentary rock formation.
