I'm pleased to share that I recently participated in the Conversational AI & Customer Experience Summit held last July 18-19, 2024, at the JS Luwansa Hotel and Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia 🇮🇩. This immersive event focused on Generative AI and Conversational AI, significantly enhancing my understanding of these cutting-edge technologies and their far-reaching impact across various sectors, including customer experience, FinTech, e-commerce, and healthcare. This experience has deepened my understanding of the vital role AI plays in enhancing customer experience (CX) across various sectors like FinTech, eCommerce, healthcare, and beyond. Here are some key insights that stood out: 1. Measuring Success with KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and OKRs: It’s crucial to set Objective Key Results (OKRs) that are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Time-bound). By leveraging historical data, scoping, deep-dive analysis, and research, we can avoid setting overly ambitious goals driven solely by leadership’s commitment to shareholder value. Instead, it’s about finding a balance that drives sustainable growth. 2. Balancing Hard and Soft Blocks: Striking the right balance between hard and soft blocks is essential in AI deployment. It’s about ensuring robust performance without compromising on flexibility and adaptability. 3. Navigating AI CSATs: Addressing challenges in AI-driven Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) requires us to refine our strategies continuously. We can enhance customer interactions and outcomes by identifying roadblocks and employing effective sentiment analysis. 4. Risk Management in AI: As we adapt to generative AI technologies, particularly in financial services, assessing and mitigating data privacy and security risks becomes paramount. This journey has reinforced the importance of a thoughtful, balanced approach in implementing AI technologies.
