About us

In today’s dynamic healthcare industry, the importance of Premier’s mission cannot be overstated. And at the core of all we do is our most valuable resource — our people. Creating real, sustainable change takes more than the best tools and technology; it takes the best people with diverse backgrounds, ideas and perspectives who imagine healthcare differently, as a better, more efficient system. We aim to build an inclusive learning culture made up of high-performing leaders and teams with a People First growth mindset for evolving our organization. Guided by our values of integrity, innovation, passion for performance and focus on people, our employees work together every day to make meaningful differences in our communities locally and nationally.

Today, we're celebrating National Intern Day and giving a huge shoutout of appreciation to our 23 interns! Over a twelve-week period, our interns become contributing members of the team by working on meaningful projects that provide an opportunity to build their resume and have measurable success on key deliverables. In addition to exposure within their department, students have access to ongoing education sessions and community and social events to learn more about Premier Inc. and the healthcare industry. Thank you to every individual who is bringing a valuable perspective and contributing insights across our company this summer! #NationalInternDay

Every month is a chance to give back. Premier Inc.'s Giving Goodwill Initiative reflects our commitment to embracing social responsibility in everything we do. The program’s framework offers employees a variety of opportunities that encourage teams to volunteer together, donate to those in need and make a real difference in the communities they live in. July's Giving Goodwill is in support of CancerCare, an organization providing free services and information to help patients navigate and manage the challenges of cancer. Premier employees can check the HR Portal for more information on how to get involved. ⭐️ Learn more about Premier's corporate social responsibility efforts: https://lnkd.in/gTZGc6NN

Yesterday, our Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Employees and Allies Employee Resource Group (ERG) gathered to celebrate the rich cultures and history of Asia by learning about the ancient art of Kummooyeh Korean Sword Technique. They were joined by the USK Martial Arts of Charlotte’s Grand Master Moon Kim and Master Charles Kim, along with their instructors and students - we're grateful for the expertise and time they shared with our employees! In celebration of National Nurses Week, we asked our Nurses of Premier Inc. Business Resource Group (BRG) about the happiest moments from their nursing careers. Below, we're sharing their responses along with photos from their capping and pinning ceremonies. A common theme: our nurses were proud and honored to care for their patients and continue to be advocates for quality healthcare and the patient experience. #NursesWeek
