Curtiss-Wright and McHale & Associates, Inc. are currently collaborating on a pilot Solar Performance Monitoring project that can effectively utilize Curtiss-Wright’s Advanced Pattern Recognition (PdP) and Equipment Anomaly Detection (EAD) applications. By leveraging their combined experience in the solar and broader renewable and conventional gas plant markets, Curtiss-Wright and McHale aim to enhance predictive forecasting. Utilizing PdP and EAD can help achieve this goal and potentially expand to forecast near-term expected future generation, providing dispatch centers with critical decision-making information in a highly competitive power market.
