This initiative will accelerate access to clean, affordable zero-emission vehicles the world over, deepening our Campaign's support for partners across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. Pioneering companies like BasiGo and Ampersand Energy lead the charge with electric buses and motorcycles, offering sustainable and financially viable alternatives to traditional vehicles. In Nairobi and Kigali, BasiGo's electric buses are providing a cleaner, cost-effective solution for public transport, while Ampersand's electric motorcycles are revolutionizing the way taxi and delivery drivers operate, reducing their operating costs by more than a third.
