Thanks to all interns who attended our 'Grow to genKC: Kicking KC to the Future' event at H&R Block - we had a great time hearing from fantastic panelists Kedra Burcham, with JE Dunn Construction, Dan Boyd, with KC Current, and Katherine Holland, with KC2026. Thanks also to our great moderator, Jack C. from H&R Block. With over 170 interns at the event, this was a fantastic event to discuss new developments in Kansas City (including the World Cup planning) and for leaders to share their best advice for growing through an internship and finding their career path.

Next, meet Nancy Musick, our professional development chair, representing Foulston Siefkin LLP on the board. Favorite part of genKC: I enjoy the opportunity to meet so many new faces from across the city. Favorite spot in Kansas City: Children’s Mercy Park cheering on Sporting KC! Finally, meet Jordan Haas, our professional development vice chair, representing BCLP on the board. Favorite part of genKC: Meeting and working with other young professionals as we progress in our respective careers. Favorite spot in Kansas City: Tie between Arrowhead and Sporting Park.
