SLP Appleton's Explore Session II was full of useful skills for lifelong success. Students toured Gulfstream to explore career opportunities in #aviation and #aerospace, while also learning about time management, task prioritization, resume development and interview skills. #DiscoverSLP

SLP advisors recently attended the National Mentoring Summit in Washington, D.C., showcasing their unwavering commitment and dedication to supporting students. The summit allows attendees to explore best practices for strengthening and expanding the youth mentoring movement. #DiscoverSLP

SLP Savannah's Discovery Session II is in the books! Students had a busy day of activities — touring Georgia Southern's Armstrong campus, strengthening public speaking skills and exploring a variety of post-grad pathways. #DiscoverSLP

SLP #Appleton recently concluded Discovery Session I. Sophomores focused on developing effective communication skills while juniors learned about healthy financial habits and budgeting. Students also toured Appleton International Airport to explore career pathways. #DiscoverSLP

SLP Savannah recently concluded Discovery Session 1 where students engaged in career exploration, college preparation and leadership development. Seniors toured one of Gulfstream Aerospace's service centers to learn more about local career opportunities, while juniors toured Savannah Technical College to learn how secondary education can help streamline career paths. Meanwhile, sophomores focused on time management tools for both productivity and balancing the demands of school, work and home life. #DiscoverSLP

Students and advisors gathered to get excited about the year ahead with breakout sessions, exploration activities and keynote speakers.
