HealthCare.gov is the home of the Health Insurance Marketplace®. The Marketplace allows you to compare and enroll in health plans online, over the phone, and in person. If you lose your health insurance because you left your job for any reason (even if you quit or were let go), you can enroll in a low-cost, quality plan through the Marketplace at HealthCare.gov. To be eligible, you need to apply for coverage within 60 days of losing the health insurance your job provided. Your new coverage starts the first day of the month after you enroll.
