On this day in 1965, Congress passed the #OlderAmericansAct. This law has provided older adults with the services & support they need to live in their own homes & communities. At HHS, we'll continue fighting so that all Americans can stay healthy in their own homes!

Last week, I joined Alysha Clark of the Las Vegas Aces, to highlight President Biden's commitment to protecting reproductive health. Overturning Roe v. Wade unleashed a new wave of attacks on all kinds of health care. Together, we’ll continue to fight so that women in every state get the health care they need.

📍I stopped by Planned Parenthood of Arizona and YWCA Southern Arizona as part of the National Reproductive Health for All Tour! Last month, the Arizona Supreme Court ruled that prosecutors can enforce one of the nation’s strictest abortion bans, a law passed long before AZ became a state in 1912. We'll continue to do everything we can to protect access to health care for women.

I joined Congressman Steven Horsford and local seniors in Nevada to highlight President Biden's lower cost prescription drug law, the IRA. The Biden-Harris Administration has prioritized affordable health care & we're putting money back in the pockets of older Americans & people with disabilities — instead of Big Pharma.

I joined #NALEO41st! We celebrated gains in Latino health coverage, reduced drug costs, & improved mental health services. Let's continue to break down barriers & build a more inclusive and equitable society, ensuring that everyone has access to the health care they deserve.

On #Juneteenth, we honor the enduring legacy and contributions of African Americans to our nation. Let us stand in solidarity, honoring the resilience and strength of the Black community, and continue striving for a society where freedom and equality are realities for all.
