Exciting News! 🎉 Yesterday, we proudly cut the ribbon at the brand-new LVHN Childcare Center in partnership with River Crossing YMCA! Located at Westgate Mall in Bethlehem, this state-of-the-art facility provides LVHN colleagues with much-needed childcare services. The 10,000-square-foot facility includes nine age-appropriate classrooms, a multipurpose room for indoor gross motor activities, a full kitchen and two outdoor playground areas. The center is part of the comprehensive health network built just for kids at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital. “LVHN surveys our colleagues annually to collect feedback about how we can make LVHN an even better place to work,” said Jim Miller, President of Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg, which is located adjacent to the center. “In recent surveys, colleagues expressed the need for greater access to childcare, and we are proud to give our colleagues what they asked for.” Learn more about our partnership with River Crossing YMCA: https://bit.ly/46lvA1V.

From a wrist injury to a state champion again! 🌟 Kelsey Silva, an 11-year-old gymnastics star, faced a tough fall last August that could have ended her season. After slipping on an AirTrack and fracturing her wrist at the growth plate, Kelsey underwent a specialized surgery thanks to her amazing care team at Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute and Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital. Kelsey's journey of recovery and determination paid off with the support of orthopedic hand surgeon Paul Sibley, DO, FAOAO, pediatric orthopedic specialist Barry Berger, MD and her dedicated coaches.
