Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow, where blood cells are made. Recognizing the symptoms of CML is crucial for early detection. These can include fatigue, weight loss, fever, and an enlarged spleen causing discomfort on the left side of the abdomen. Taking proactive steps with your healthcare provider for regular check-ups and monitoring can be beneficial, leading to better disease management and improved quality of life (#QoL).
