Our mission is to help students and alumni meet their career goals through meaningful placements.
About us
At Seton Hall Law Office of Career Services (OCS), we believe it is important to provide students and alumni with one-on-one assistance, resources, and counseling to meet their personal and professional objectives throughout their law careers. Here there is no single, one-size-fits-all strategy. We focus on one student at a time. Our law career counselors work with you each step of the way, along with offering a full slate of workshops, resume and cover letter editing, mock interviews, on-campus interviews and recruiting programs, and career development and networking events, to help ensure you can meet your goals and fulfill your passion for the law. We provide resources and guidance to law students and alumni to excel in the legal profession. From internships to law jobs, we are here for students and alumni throughout their legal careers. Once a pirate, always a pirate! We are Seton Hall Law proud! Seton Hall Law students not only know the law, but they also know the practice of law. Our graduates are ready to engage at law firms, companies, in nonprofits and judicial clerkships. They take what they learn in the classroom and prepare themselves for success by participating in multiple practical learning opportunities, ranging from our highly respected Skills program; to externships, clinics, and pro bono programs; to judicial externships and internships with government and public interest organizations. OCS operates two recruiting programs, each at no cost to employers, and invites employers seeking to fill positions for part-time, summer, or full-time positions for current law students and graduates to participate in our On Campus Interview or Resume Referral Program. Employers may also post a role on our electronic job board by visiting https://law-shu-csm.symplicity.com/employers/.
