Naked Energy Limited ("Naked Energy"), a leading provider of high-density solar heat and solar photovoltaic thermal (PVT) solutions, has raised £17m of new equity capital as part of its Series B fundraising round led by E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions ("E.ON EIS"). Piper Sandler Ltd. acted as the exclusive corporate financial advisor to Naked Energy.

Proserv Holdings Limited (“Proserv”) has completed a management buy-out backed by Glenn Inniss Investment Limited (“GIIL”).   Piper Sandler Ltd. acted as the exclusive corporate finance advisor to Proserv and its shareholders on the recently announced transaction.

Last week 7 members of the Piper Sandler Energy & Power Investment Banking team participated in the annual Battle of the Banks Dodgeball Tournament which took place at Pitch 25 Beer Garden in Houston. The event featured 16 teams and fun was had by all!

The Piper Sandler investment banking team in Aberdeen were honored to be a part of the Robert Gordon University Business School Prize Giving ceremony last week.    Piper Sandler has had the privilege of working closely with RGU for many years, celebrating the exceptional achievements of top students whilst studying BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance.   A huge congratulations to Christina Butuc and Julia Wydrzynska who won the top students prize.

Thank you to all those who joined us last week in New York for our Power Services Executive lunch at the Metropolitan Club. The intimate executive event was created for senior leadership within operating companies in the sector and private equity. Attendees heard from Jan Stuart, global energy economist at Piper Sandler who discussed the surging demand for electricity followed by a fireside chat with Billy Haugland II, chief executive officer at Haugland Group LLC, and Joseph Haugland, president and chief operating officer at Haugland Group which was moderated by William Nichols, managing director, energy & power investment banking at Piper Sandler.

Impact Fluid Solutions LP (“Impact”), a premier provider of downhole fluid additives for drilling and cementing applications, has been acquired by Dorf Ketal Chemicals India Private Limited (“Dorf Ketal”). The acquisition expands Dorf Ketal’s portfolio of specialty chemical solutions for oil and gas operations.    Piper Sandler Co. served as exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of Impact.

The Piper Sandler team in the Aberdeen office participated in their annual volunteering day last week. The group of over twenty staff members dedicated a full day of work to the Archie Foundation by painting, gardening and litter picking around the outdoor play park at the Royal Children’s Hospital. This is the team’s second visit to the Archie Foundation. Last year, the group revamped the space that is used daily by children using the hospital facilities by painting the fence that surrounds play park but their job was not done and the team returned to finish what they started. The Archie Foundation exists to transform experiences and outcomes in healthcare and bereavement for babies, children and families across North Scotland. Every year, The Archie Foundation impact on the healthcare of more than 175,000 sick children. They buy specialist equipment, support families, create amazing hospital environments, enhance staff training, buy toys, fund research, provide specialist staff and respond in emergencies. Their donors, volunteers and supporters make this possible and they are hugely grateful to every single one of them.

Last night at Houston Country Club we had the pleasure of celebrating 50 years of Simmons & Company which in present day is the energy & power team of Piper Sandler. The evening included networking with Simmons alumni and hearing from L.E. Simmons, Tony Banham and Fred Charlton who spoke about the firm's legacy. Thank you to our clients who have supported us through the years and cheers to another 50 years of delivering exceptional client services in M&A advisory, capital markets execution, institutional sales and investment research.
