Recently, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) issued updated recommendations for syphilis screening, stating that all pregnant individuals should be “screened serologically for syphilis at the first prenatal care visit, followed by universal rescreening during the third trimester and at birth, rather than use a risk-based approach to testing.” This change marks an important step in strengthening the public health response towards eradicating syphilis. Make it easier for patients to get the testing they need with our comprehensive STI portfolio, inclusive of a suite of tests and panels to help screen for and diagnose syphilis, as well as monitor your patient’s response to treatment: #STIAwareness #WomensHealthMonth
