The #SBA 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 launched in #Indianapolis with U.S. Small Business Administration Administrator Isabel Guzman making her first stop at the iconic Kountry Kitchen Soul Food Place dishing with owners Cynthia & Isaac Wilson about how #SBA resources helped after they were served a #2020 double whammy -COVID & a building fire. Shortly before restaurants were forced to close in 2020, Kountry Kitchen's building was destroyed in a 2-alarm blaze. During the pandemic, the team used kitchen space at the Indianapolis City Market pivoting sales to take-out, delivery and catering. With the help of #SBA PPP loans, the Wilson's were able to pay their employees, run day-to-day operations while creatively finding ways to finance a brick & mortar rebuild at their original College Ave location. Kountry Kitchen celebrated their grand re-opening in October of last year.
