Referee named for UEFA Supercup Final between Real Madrid and Atalanta

UEFA have appointed Swiss referee Sandro Scharer as the man in charge of Wednesday’s clash between Real Madrid and Atalanta in the UEFA Supercup Final.

Sandro Schärer has been appointed to referee the European Super Cup final between Real Madrid and Atalanta on 14 August at Warsaw’s Stadion Narodowy. This will be the second game involving our team for the Swiss official. The last one came in the Champions League Group Stage back in 2022-23, as Real Madrid beat Celtic 3-0.

Atalanta like to play intense, counterattacking football, so it will be interesting to see the level of physicality Scharer allows in this match.
