An animated video, to pay respect to one of the greats

The School of Real Madrid, a video concept created in 2019 by Managing Madrid’s Kiyan Sobhani and Om Arvind which provides Real Madrid analysis through narration and animation, is back — and this time it’s back for good! Our producer is the highly talented Miguel Castillo.


In this week’s video, we analyze Real Madrid’s first every superstar, Manuel Fernández Fernández, known as Pahiño. He was the first player at the club to hit the 100-goals mark, and in 1953, before Alfredo di Stefano and Ferenc Puskas joined, he was the club’s all-time top scorer.

Pahiño is a man we don’t talk enough about. An outstanding goal scorer, he was a complete forward — a player who was feared in the box by defenders and could score in a plethora of different ways:
