It was another tight close game that slightly opened up at the end, but just enough for the Denver Nuggets to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-107 and tied up the Western Conference Semifinal Series.

The Nuggets lost both home games and, when everything looked halfway over, Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and company appeared to regain their hopes of a second straight NBA title.

Anthony Edwards played a magnificent game in which he managed to score 44 points, but he did not have enough support to get a home win.

Jokic finished the night with 35 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists, while Edwards scored 44 points. Interesting so was that the supporting cast helped a lot as well. Aaron Gordon added 27 points, 11 of 12 from the field, and Jamal Murray with 19 points and 8 assists. Once again, the Nuggets showed how complete their team is.

The Timberwolves failed to win at their home court

Anthony Edwards' teammates did not perform very well, as they did in the games in Denver. Karl-Anthony Towns never found his match, after opening 0 of 7 from the field and finishing with 13 points and 5-18 from the field.

Rudy Gobert didn't do much better, as he scored 11 points and got 14 rebounds, but no defensive impact with only one block, in addition to 5 turnovers and 5 fouls. Denver also dominated with what the benches provided, winning 27 to 13 in points converted by men that didnt start the game.

The second quarter was key. Denver had already taken the lead in the first and wanted to increase the difference. There were 20 seconds left in the first half and the difference was only 7 points in favor of the Nuggets.

A series of mistakes by the Timberwolves that were capitalized by the Nuggets ended in Denver leading by 15 at the end of the second chapter, crowned with a triple by Jamal Murray that gave his team a 15-point lead at the moment on their way to victory.

The series now heads back to Denver in two nights for Game 5.
