It has been a busy few days for USWNT superstar Trinity Rodman. Having won gold at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games just days earlier, she is now again gaining attention for her new look.

Much like Marc Cucurella kept his promise to dye his curls after Spain won the Men's 2024 European Championship, Rodman has now done similarly in celebration of Olympic gold.

Rodman has ditched her pink braids, instead opting for another unique style. But what is it?

Well, she took to Instagram and posted a story of herself cutting her braids off, writing: "Me to my pink hair: your work here is done".

Masterfully placed, her Olympic gold medal was lying on top of the pile of pink braids on the floor.

But fans freaked out, having grown to love those pink braids. With many worried about how she would look without them, fans of the soccer star were flocking to social media channels to share their distress.

Soon after, Rodman returned to her IG stories and posted an update of her appearance, snapping a selfie from the plane. Again, that gold medal was front and center in the shot, and who can blame her?

So, nothing has really changed. The pink braids are gone but Rodman has simply returned to her pre-Games look.

It's a pity to see the back of the pink braids, but they served her well. Her iconic summer look won't be forgotten in a hurry, but we're just thankful that they helped her claim Olympic gold.

Now, we await her next change of look with wide eyes and filled with hope and excitement.
