Manchester City made history by winning their fourth Premier League title in a row by smashing West Ham United 3-1 thanks to two goals from Phil Foden and a third by Rodri, whilst Mohammed Kudus earned the consolation for the visitors.
That means the Cityzens now stand alone as the only side to win four league titles in a row, something even Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United squads couldn't achieve, as Pep Guardiola continues to exert a suffocating dominance over England's top level of soccer.
The title celebrations got underway essentially right as the game kicked off when the Premier League Player of the Season, Foden, opened the scoring in the second minute with an electric strike from outside of the box that flew past Alphonse Areola and into the top corner to make the stadium explode into life.
He then got his second of the game in the 18th minute with another great hit that left Areola with no chance as he swept home Jeremy Doku's low cross to sink Arsenal hearts all the way in London, that's now 19 goals and eight assists for the 23-year-old this campaign.
But it was nervy for some time when Kudus pulled one back for the away side with an audacious overhead kick just before half-time after City failed to clear their lines, leaving Guardiola furious on the bench at how cheap the goal was.
Nerves were settled when Rodri killed the game off with 30 minutes to go after he converted Bernardo Silva's layup with a well-placed, side-footed shot into the corner, although Areola will be disappointed that he couldn't manage to stop the effort.
Dominant City didn't need results elsewhere
In the end, City didn't need to win to get the job done as Arsenal were held to a draw by Everton at the Emirates, meaning Mikel Arteta's title challengers wouldn't have been able to leapfrog them on the final day.
But they left no crumbs on the table as they controlled 74% of the possession with 28 shots, 12 on target, a trio of goals and 54 touches in the box. Compared to West Ham? It was brutal. The Hammers only had seven touches in the box for just three shots as Areola was forced to make nine saves.
