Selena Gomez has decided to take action on social media after a content creator did not want to reveal what cosmetic retouching she had done on her face.
It is one of the most common forms of content creation today: users ask an 'expert' about a celebrity and the latter, based on photographs or videos, makes an analysis of all the operations she has undergone.
Despite the fact that this type of content has a great reception online, Gomez does not seem to have been very happy that she has been the victim of the latest one.
The 'Wizards of Waverly Place' actress has responded to influencer Marissa Barrionuevo in one of her TikTok videos where she explained what cosmetic surgery Gomez had received in recent years.

Barrionuevo responded with a denial for her followers to see and because of the health problems that Gomez has experienced in the past, the content creator did not want to mention any kind of diagnosis because it could be due to that and not to any plastic surgery.
Still, this justification must not have sat too well with Gomez, as the singer and performer was very concise in her explanation, though blunt like few others.
"The truth is, I hate this. I put streaky cream on for a breakout. I got Botox. That's it. Leave me alone," she wrote responding to the content creator's post.
Aware of the hurt she might have caused Gomez, the influencer quickly apologized: "While I always try to be kind and mindful, I'm sorry this upset you. I decided to stop making videos like this last year because of the negative impact it can cause. It was never my intention."
