In a shocking incident that has Paris on alert, CCTV footage reveals a young Australian woman's desperate escape into a kebab shop after allegedly being gang-raped by five men.

The 25-year-old tourist was found in a dazed and disoriented state outside the eatery on Boulevard de Clichy, near the iconic Moulin Rouge, around 5 a.m. Saturday. Her dress was reportedly backward and partially torn, a chilling testament to her ordeal.

The footage, now making rounds, shows the terrified woman rushing into the kebab shop, seeking help from the stunned staff and customers. As she tries to explain her plight, a man enters the shop, and the woman identifies him as one of her attackers. In a jaw-dropping moment, the alleged assailant brazenly pats her on the back before fleeing after a customer confronts him.

Police were on the scene within minutes, and the woman, who claimed her attackers were "of African appearance," was taken to Bichat Hospital for treatment. The shop owner told 7News that the distraught woman couldn't stop crying, her dress damaged, and her phone stolen.
