MLB All Star 2024 is just around the corner, and it's time to review the roster of the two teams that will square off on Tuesday, July 16 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
The mid-season Classic in Major League Baseball will have its 94th edition in a game that will be played at 8:00 p.m. ET, 5:00 p.m. PT.
The two teams have up to 37 players who were selected for the first time, while 13 players received their third nomination for the game.
In addition, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts is among the nominees for the eighth consecutive time, followed by teammate Freddie Freeman, who was elected for the sixth year in a row.
A third Dodgers player will be present at the game, and in fact he is the only one who is part of the starting lineup, Shohei Ohtani, who will represent the National League for the first time, after having played on the other side when he was part of the Los Angeles Angels.
Aaron Judge with the most votes
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge was the player with the most votes from fans; this season, Judge is the leader in home runs with 32 and runs produced with 83.
Judge will be back in an All-Star game after missing the 2023 edition due to injury, and will play alongside his Bronx Bombers teammate, Dominican Juan Soto.
