MLB free agent Shohei Ohtani could become the first $600 million man in league history as the bidding to acquire his services continues to intensify, according to Jon Heyman of New York Post. He has reportedly already received several offers from different teams well above the $500 million mark.

Ohtani, 29, would break the free agent contract record of $360 million set by New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge. The reason for the vast difference is because the Japanese player is a pitcher, outfielder and designated hitter.

The money will be huge no matter what for Ohtani, so it's possible he takes a bit less money to remain with the Los Angeles Angels or move to whichever team best suits him.

Shohei Ohtani to the Dodgers?

Ohtani has been linked to the Los Angeles Dodgers for quite some time and it's well-known by now that he doesn't want to play in the East Coast.

The Dodgers are constantly competing in the postseason and Ohtani would instantly make them a World Series favorite.
