Aaron Judge's season has left him on course for the Triple Crown, however he is perhaps the lone bright spot in what has been an underwhelming season for the New York Yankees.

A surprising critique has even emerged from Judge's personal hitting coach, Richard Schenck.

Despite Judge leading the league in home runs (32) and RBIs (83), Schenck has harshly criticized the New York Yankees' offense, as well as virtually accusing the team of wasting Judge's MVP-level form.

This bold statement from a trusted member of Judge's inner circle has sent shockwaves through the baseball community, with many suspecting it echoes the feelings Judge admits to in private conversations.

Schenck's comments come in light of the Yankees' recent slump - 13 losses in 18 games - despite Judge's outstanding individual performances.

"They've lost 13 out of 18 while he's hitting like an MVP," Schenck declared.

Why has Judge been so impressive?

Judge is on a historic pace, potentially surpassing his own record-breaking 2022 season. His .314 batting average, though behind league leader Steven Kwan's .367, remains impressive given his power numbers.

Judge was leading the league in the Triple Crown until recently. However, the Yankees' overall offensive production tells a different story.

The team has struggled for consistency, swinging between winning and losing streaks, with a notable lack of run support for their ace pitchers. Judge's hitting splits reveal a stark difference in his performance during wins versus losses: a .380 average with 23 home runs in wins, compared to a .216 average with 9 home runs in losses.

"The Yankees offensive player development is terrible," Schenck declared, implying a systemic issue within the organization.

This critique carries significant weight, as Schenck has worked closely with Judge and understands the nuances of his swing, and the pair have a very close relationship.
