The ESPY Awards (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Awards), commonly known as the ESPYs, is an annual American awards show produced by ESPN since 1993. It honors individual and team athletic achievements, as well as other sports-related performances from the previous calendar year.

Initially, from 1993 to 2004, ESPY winners were chosen exclusively by fan votes. Since 2004, the selection process has included votes from sportswriters, broadcasters, sports executives, sportspersons, and ESPN personalities. Currently, winners are determined through global online fan voting from nominees selected by the ESPY Select Nominating Committee.
