Ezekiel Elliott, three-time Pro Bowl running back, left the New England Patriots to return to the Dallas Cowboys, the team with which he began his career in the 2016 season.

But now, he might be concerned with his current physical state, something that really never a topic of conversation during his first period in Dallas, and really neither with the Patriots.

A video has emerged of him in practice and performing on a drill, and he does not seem to be himself. While running through some obstacles and holding a football on each hand, he just looks gassed under the sun and now social media is blowing up because of it.

The team has not made a comment on the matter, but fans have been very critical of this situation.

Everyone expects good results

Zeke Elliott was released in the past offseason and headed to New England, where he was the main running back of the rushing offense, accumulating 642 yards and three touchdowns. The running back reached an agreement to play the 2024 season with the lone star team in exchange for three million dollars.

This amount contrasts with the 70 million he received between 2016 and 2022 with Dallas, but due to the contraction that the running back market has suffered, his new income was far from his previous contract.

The player born in Alton, Illinois, came to the NFL selected by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2016 Draft. His rookie campaign was explosive with 1,631 yards and 15 touchdowns, his best record in his eight seasons in the NFL.
