Travis Kelce's close friend has praised Taylor Swift and dubbed her "an awesome person" having hung out with the pop superstar plenty of times over recent months.
Kelce and Swift have become one of the biggest power couples, with Swift one of the biggest musicians of all time and Kelce one of the greatest tight ends the NFL has ever seen.
The couple's every move is under the microscope due to their undeniable popularity, with Swift having been a regular at Kansas City Chiefs games last season, while Kelce has popped up at various Eras Tour dates around the world.
The relationship appears to be very serious, with rumors of engagement in the air. What we do know is that Swift has the stamp of approval from Kelce's friend Baron Corbin, who is a professional wrestler.
Corbin, whose real name is Thomas Pestock, told reporters at the WWE SuperSlam: "If you lived under a rock and had no idea who Taylor Swift was, you would just think she's an awesome person.
"The moment she meets you, she gives you a hug. It's rare to find someone, like, on that level of stardom be so humble and cool that you would never know. Other than the fact that you're like, 'Oh, she obviously is important, does something.'"
How Corbin and Swift met
Corbin met his close friend's other half back in December of last year when attending a Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills game.
The former NFL player has naturally spent plenty of time with Swift since then, being based in Kansas City and regularly hanging out with Kelce. Corbin made it to the NFL as a practice squad member with the Indianapolis Colts and the Arizona Cardinals but pivoted to wrestling after failing to make the respective rosters.
