Former Miami Dolphins player Xavien Howard sued for sharing revenge porn

Former Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard is facing a lawsuit accusing him of sharing explicit material without consent, involving a woman he previously dated and the son of another woman. The plaintiffs, identified as Jane and John Doe, allege Howard distributed explicit photos and videos to humiliate them and cause emotional distress.

Court documents reveal Jane Doe had a sexual relationship with Howard, which ended when she rejected his advances. Following this, Howard allegedly shared explicit videos of her without her consent.

John Doe, the son of another woman who was involved with Howard, claims Howard sought revenge by sending explicit material of his mother to him, who was a minor at the time, causing significant emotional distress.

The lawsuit charges Howard with invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, injunctive relief, intrusion of privacy, and sexual cyberharassment.

Jane Doe's involvement with Howard began on Instagram in 2016, and they started dating in early 2022, ending the relationship by July.

During their time together, Howard recorded their sexual activities with her knowledge on one occasion but later shared these videos without her consent.

In September 2022, another woman contacted Jane, revealing Howard had sent her explicit videos involving various women, including Jane. When confronted, Howard admitted to sharing the videos out of anger.

Despite receiving a cease-and-desist letter in October 2022, Howard attempted to contact Jane again in February 2023. In April 2023, Jane received more explicit material from another woman, allegedly shared by Howard to provoke her further.

John Doe's mother communicated with Howard using her children's phones when her phone battery was dead. During a dispute in September 2022, Howard allegedly sent explicit material of John's mother to him, which John discovered through his iCloud account after being grounded from using his phone.
