Vikings WR Justin Jefferson trusts his alter ego to deliver $140 million worth of TDs in the upcoming seasons

The Minnesota Vikings offered Justin Jefferson a $140 million extension contract which is the highest-paying contract for a wide receiver in the NFL and is also the biggest agreement for a non-quarterback position in the whole league. Meanwhile, Jefferson opened up about his alter ego to deliver the touchdowns the Vikings need to win.

Netflix's newly released docuseries called Wide Receiver and in the second episode, Jefferson opens up on his alter ego he calls "Jets" which is when he is playing the part of the NFL superstar.

"I have Jets and I have Justin," the wide receiver shared as he showed off his jewelry collection for the camera crew. "Justin is now, he is the cool, calm and collected. I chill, play video games, I be to myself the majority of the time. When I start putting these chains on, put the teeth in, all of the jewelry and all that, that's when it starts to become Jets."

Jefferson is excited about his 5th season with the Vikings

Justin Jefferson and Kirk Cousins have good chemistry, however, when the QB tore his Achilles during mid-season, the hopes and dreams of the team shook and adding the bad news of his hamstring injury it looked like the season was over but 'Jets' returned to the field on Week 14 to deliver a great performance.

"Jets is the most confident," Jefferson said. "That's my swagger. Not cocky but he has the confidence in himself to go out and perform to the highest in the league. I like looking good while I go play."

"Everybody around me from a young age knows who I really am and knows I'm the shy kid," he added. "I like being to myself. I don't really like being the center of attention. So when Jets come out on that field, it's like the total opposite. Jets, he likes the attention. He likes showboating, he likes dancing, he likes giving the fans what they want."
