The couple has not spoken publicly, only a very subtle message from the former cheerleader caught the attention of the press. Among the few comments in favor, one stands out that defends Hudson at all times.

He seemed to not be completely on board with this relationship that he said he would have a problem with it if his daughter would be involved with an older man. "Here's what I would say. If Bill Belichick came to my house and wanted to date Kiera Russo, who's 23, I'd have a problem with it. 'Coach, come on in. Have a good time, you two.'"
He definitely is not a fan of this situation that has taken NFL fans followers by storm as of late, even when the head coach is no longer in the New England Patriots or anu organization.
