Former UFC Heavyweight champion and new PFL king Francis Ngannou hadn't spoken about the horrible ordeal of losing his 15-month old son, Kobe. Ngannou hamed his son after the late Kobe Bryant because the late great NBA star had always been an inspiration for him. Since then, Francis had only made a statementthrough his social medi but he still hadn't spoken about it at a podcast or an interview. If that was going to happen, it is only ntural that it did at a massive platform such as 'The Joe Rogan Experience'. On Tuesday, Joe dropped the episode with the Cameroonian star and that part was the hardest to watch. It was evident both Joe and Francis were in distress talking about Kobe's passing.

Francis Ngannou's heart breaking story

On this new episode, Francis Ngannou gave Joe Rogan a heart breaking account of how his brother was the one who broke the news to him as he was training in Dubai. Ngannou could barely hold his tears and Joe clearly was having a rough time speaking. Here is what Francis said: "My phone rang; it was my little brother, saying, 'Bro, things are not going well here. He said Kobe passed out. He's not breathing, we are at the hospital, they kicked me out from the room. You have things to be grateful about, but in your heart you feel like you are broken, you have nothing. Nothing is worth it. At least whenever I die. I'm going to see my kid. I'm not afraid of it."

Ngannou also talked about the only interaction he had with Kobe Bryant before he passed: "I named him after Kobe Bryant, because I had a great memory of Kobe Bryant. The day the UFC was announcing the partnership with BodyArmor, it was in New York. I'd just arrived in the US at that time, my English was so bad. I'm in New York and we have to meet in this room for this event to make an announcement.I'm there a little early and Kobe came a little early too. He met me in the waiting room and it's just Kobe and me there for 30 minutes. My English is very bad, I'm embarrassed, I want to speak and he keeps asking questions.... and he's really excited to get me to talk. Dana White was the next guy to walk into the room and he said 'Wow, do you know this guy's story?'. Kobe was there and talking like that and I'm like 'Wow, this iss Kobe Bryant!' and that was like my moment with Kobe."
