Man City v West Ham
Updated

Good afternoon everybody and welcome along to another MARCA in English live blog, this time taking you through the Premier League clash between Manchester City and West Ham at the Etihad Stadium.

The home side know what they have to do: win, and they secure their fourth consecutive Premier League title, the first ever team to do so. A draw (due to their inferior goal difference) or a loss, however, combined with an Arsenal win against Everton would see the title go to Mikel Arteta's side.

The fact that visitors West Ham have virtually nothing to play for other than pride, being ninth in the table and too far away from reaching the European spots, should be favourable for Pep Guardiola's side.

That said, on previous final days, like the 2022's finale against Aston Villa in a similar scenario, City were given a fright as they went two goals down to a side with nothing to play for, although they managed to turn it around in enthralling fashion.
