Is there a new Fortnite mini-event coming? It looks like it. Although in principle it wouldn't be too big, Epic Games is working on something new.

At least that's how it seems to be according to the latest information obtained through the game's code.

According to several leakers who have been informed by dataminers, the shooter will do something special with the gigantic statue that rules Mount Olympus.

For example, @ShiinaBR explained that "the statue of Mount Olympus will be raising its arm in the air, which will cause the sword to be surrounded by lightning. The statue will also have glowing eyes and there will be a sandstorm around it!"

JorgeMost has corroborated these details, showing an image of what appears to be the files indicating all of these new features.

There's even more, as @iFireMonkey has explained that all this information has been obtained by decrypting data packets. However, he has made it clear that none of these details are available in the game yet.

"Currently, there is nothing available in the game at the time of this tweet, but the statue on Mount Olympus will somehow be involved and a sandstorm. My best guess is that something will happen later today," he said. So perhaps we can expect some kind of event later in the day, but it's far from official.

Fortnite hasn't spent as much time and space on events with more weight and impact on the game for a long time, so this (perhaps) doesn't feel like a big deal to many players.
