BOSTON — The Summer League Celtics won’t play for another week but the full 13-man roster was announced by the team Monday afternoon while the team was getting one of their first practices in at the Auerbach Center.
The 13-man group features experienced players along with Boston’s two picks from the 2024 NBA Draft in Baylor Scheierman and Anton Watson. Roster players Jaden Springer, Jordan Walsh and Neemias Queta are also on the roster along with two-way wing Drew Peterson. JD Davison, a 2022 Celtics draft pick who is currently an unrestricted free agent is also on a squad, giving Boston one of the more experienced teams playing in Las Vegas.
Other non-roster additions include Tyler Cook, Tristan Enaruna, Ron Harper Jr., Jaelen House, Jahmi’us Ramsey and Killian Tillie. The former Gonzaga standout played two seasons with the Grizzlies but has been out of the NBA since 2023. Boston currently has one spot open on their 15-man roster along with a pair of two-way slots open. Watson is expected to fill one of those two-way slots.
Celtics assistant coach D.J. MacLeay will coach the team in Las Vegas for the first time. Boston will play at least five games in Las Vegas starting on Saturday July 13 against the Heat at 6:30 p.m. ET. The Celtics will also face off with the Lakers (July 15), Hornets (July 17) and Mavericks (July 19) before a potential four-team playoff or a consolation-round matchup on either July 20 or July 21. All Celtics games will be broadcast on NBC Sports Boston locally and on NBATV or ESPN nationally. Here’s a look at the full roster and schedule:
