Michigan High School Basketball - Western International tops Southeastern
January 10, 2023: Detroit, MI 48209 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Western International Cowboys (Detroit, MI) and the visiting Southeastern Jungaleers (Detroit, MI), saw Western International's basketball squad knock off Southeastern by a count of 71-51.
With the victory, Western International upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Farragut (Chicago, IL) to play the Admirals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Admirals come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Farragut won 62-59 in their recent league challenge against Clark (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Jungaleers play the Renaissance Phoenix (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Public I challenge, on Friday, January 13. Southeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 76-57 league win over Ford (Detroit, MI).
