California High School Basketball - Perris thwarts West Valley
January 16, 2024: Perris, CA 92571 The Perris Panthers (Perris, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA), 66-57 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Citrus Hill (Perris, CA). The Hawks go into the Mountain Pass test with a 8-14 record. In their last test, Citrus Hill went down by San Jacinto (San Jacinto, CA), 69-63, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a Mountain Pass test on Thursday, January 18. West Valley will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 101-54 league win over Tahquitz (Hemet, CA). The Bison record now stands at 16-6.
