January 16, 2024: Florence, KY 41042 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) and the host Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), saw Bishop Brossart's basketball squad overcome Boone County by a tally of 53-33.
With the victory, Bishop Brossart improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Simon Kenton (Independence, KY) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Simon Kenton won 58-41 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Henry (Erlanger, KY)
Next up, the Rebels confront the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) in a District 33 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Boone County will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 38-32 league win over Ryle (Union, KY).
