West Virginia High School Basketball - George Washington can't hold off South Charleston
January 24, 2015: Charleston, WV 25314 The South Charleston Black Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host George Washington Patriots to 45 in the Black Eagles league victory on Saturday.
The Black Eagles now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington for a Mountain State bout on Wednesday, January 28. South Charleston will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 74-66 league win over Winfield (Winfield, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 10-2.
Next up, the Patriots clash with the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Friday, January 30. George Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record.
