Cornerstone Christian Cougars (Antioch, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA), 57-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Cornerstone Christian upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Cougars host California Crosspoint (Hayward, CA) to clash with the Rams in a Bay Counties - General bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 6-0. California Crosspoint won 61-30 in their recent league bout against Fremont Christian (Fremont, CA)

Next up, the Marlins clash with the Contra Costa Christian Cougars (Walnut Creek, CA) in a Bay Counties - General bout, on Tuesday, January 9.
