The Hoover Tornados basketball team scored 87 points and held the host La Puente Warriors to 38 in the Tornados non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tornados now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Gabriel for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 25.

The Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Duarte (Duarte, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Duarte was routed by Franklin (Los Angeles, CA), 68-36, in a non-league contest.
